John Legend - Rolling In The Deep (Edwin van Cleef Remix)

Here's a track that has been on repeat for weeks for me. It's Edwin van Cleef's remix of John Legend's cover of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep." Whew. Adele's original track is one I'm sure you all have heard, along with Villa's remix which was featured on a recent Magician mixtape, however I wouldn't be surprised if this one snuck by. Legend's soulful vocals bring out a different, deeper side of the song that is backed up with an absolute dance party behind it.

Some fantastic dreamwave from the Binary family. Fabian's "Heatwave" is that perfect synth-pop dreamwave sound to bring you a touch of warmth as the winter progresses on. As a bonus, here are two remixes, one by Valerie Collective's Russ Chimes and another by Binary artist Short Circuit. Both remixes and the original are all solid tracks, with the short circuit remix being more glitchy of a track you'd hear on the dance floor of a smokey club.

Continuing my string of posts ripped from the various Aeroplane sets I saw over last week, here is Rory Phillips remix of The Units' High Pressure Days. At the time I was so sure this was some sort of Talking Heads remix and spent days scouring the web for it but couldn't find anything. A friend was able to ID the track this morning and even the rainy weather in NY couldn't bring me down at the moment. This is a perfect blend of 1980's synth punk with a modern day dance reworking to smooth out the edges and make this track quite the burner.

Aeroplane spins A-Trak's remix of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Heads will Roll, posted earlier this week. I've been playing the shit out of that track, so seeing my favorite DJs drop it last night at Iriving Plaza was absolutely awesome. Great little run by Aeroplane here in NYC, hopefully they come back soon.

As the weather get's a bit brisk here in NYC, I felt it necessary to post a track that reminded me of summer. Here's Classixx doing their thing on a Yacht track.
